A graduate student in environmental sciences, I am currently in a Ph.D. program at the University of California, Berkeley studying wildland fire. I'm interested in investigating how to protect communities and the environment from catastrophic wildfire through collaborative planning.
With experience both in structural and wildland fire as a USFS Smokejumper, I'm adjunct faculty at Pasadena City College and develop wildfire strategies for individuals and communities to decrease risk in the wildland-urban interface (WUI).
